We had a blast on Friday night playing our own brand of hopped up Rockabilly to a fantastic crowd at Judge Begbie’s Tavern in New Westminster, BC.

Our good friend Roxanne snapped this great shot of Caroline rockin’ a Rosie the Riveter pose and it pretty much sums up the ballsy bottom end brilliance that Caroline brings to The Wheelgrinders sound. If any of you cats out there are big fans of Rockabilly slap bass we urge you to come on out to one of our shows and see and hear Caroline in action…you will most certainly be in for a treat!

…and this is our very good buddy and honorary Wheelgrinder, Johnny Laakmann. It’s very rare that there’s a Wheelgrinders show without Johnny there in the crowd having a ball! Thanks for the support Johnny….you is good people!

A couple more pics from the show. We had a few sound issue gremlins plaguing the first set but we were all sorted out by set two and the place was really hopping!
